Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze medal in the balance beam. She was the first Olympic gymnast with the most medals. The gold medal was hers in the team competition in the 2016 Olympics, which was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Her silver medals came in the floor individual and all-around event. In between the two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. Her gold medal winning American team also won the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of two and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing a career as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark line of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's working on, is due out later in the year.
